Profiles the life and work of Martin Chambi (1891-1973), a full-blooded Indian, who ran his own photographic studio in Cuzco, Peru's ancient Inca capital, where he photographed many of Peru's wealthy European families. Chambi's Indian roots also allowed him access to the other side of the social divide, and he made numerous trips into the countryside to document Indian culture and lifestyles. The video features some of Chambi's most stunning photos, plus interviews with Chambi's daughters, coworkers, and associates.
