New York Times publishes a front-page article about arguably the most important Chinese documentary filmmaker working today, Zhao Liang and the unique, troubling circumstances he finds himself in as a result of his films. Zhao's most well-known documentary is Petition, and as the New York Times notes, it is "considered by many of its viewers to be a fearless work of art.
